North Star Building Systems,
Inc. is a custom builder of modular buildings for
their dealer base in the upper Midwest. Established in
1995, North Star constructed an office and manufacturing
facility in nearby Marshall, MN, building ramblers,
tri-level, spit entry, two story, cape cod and other
designs as well as light commercial and multi-family
buildings. With demand growing in the summer of 1995,
North Star answered their increased production needs by
adding a manufacturing facility in Tracy. Since the first
year in Tracy, the production at this facility has
continued to grow. The Tracy plant provides the
production for seasonal production needs as well as
special projects. Their buildings are custom designed to
meet the customer's priorities. They are typically built
to approximately 85% complete depending on the design and
customer requirements. Garages, decks, porches and other
items are provided by the builder/dealer on-site. The
buildings are all built to the current IBC and IRC codes
as well as the respective state building codes and
standards. The inspection process provides state
inspection as well as local in-plant inspection and
quality control on each job which, provides an improved
code compliant structure.
